Presentation of Insulinoma	

Sometimes episodes of hypoglycaemia occur only as a result of rigorous exercise or dieting. An association with fasting is seldom remarked upon spontaneously by patients, although paradoxically – because rebound hypoglycaemia is common – a relationship to eating and drinking may be mentioned. Weight gain and weight loss occur with almost equal frequency, although a few patients present with seemingly simple but intractable obesity as their sole complaint.
